Revolver is a charming vintage-style café in Annandale Street. This former old corner store has grown to be one of the locals’ favourites, thanks to its excellent food. The venue itself is pretty original, with street art-inspired screens, Italian-style frescos and antique shelving. As for the menu, well… You’ll soon understand why it is so crowded on weekends! It’s a true thing of wonder.
A sneak peek:
- Bircher with oats, apple, currant citrus zest, pomegranate molasses, natural yoghurt and fresh seasonal fruit
- House made gluten free, toasted banana bread
- Bacon and egg roll with caramelised onion, wild rocket and three sauces in a Sonomal roll
- Big breakfast with free range bacon, pork and fennel sausage, pork shoulder, baked eggs, roast tomato, roast field mushrooms in beans with sourdough toast
- Veggie big breakfast with baked eggs, roast tomato, avocado, roast field mushrooms and smoky eggplant, in beans with beetroot puree, Danish fetta and sourdough toast
- Trout Rosti: house smoked ocean trout on a corn rosti with sweet red capsicum relish, baby spinach and avocado
- The ultimate cheeseburger with beef patty, smoked mozzarella, beetroot, old school pickle, fresh tomato, house made BBQ sauce, aioli and rosemary salted lemon chat potatoes in a Sonoma bun (Gluten Free on request)
And other tasty dishes…
